Representatives of the structural divisions of the Donetsk Regional State Administration visited the regional educational and cultural hubs operating in Kyiv. They unite residents of Donetsk who have been forced to leave their homes due to the war.

The educational hub "Donetsk" has been operating in the capital of Ukraine since November 2022. It has become an important platform for organizing the educational process for children and adults in a state of martial law. It also actively promotes social cohesion within the educational community of Donetsk through various educational and entertainment events.

Since its opening, nearly 500 events in various formats — in-person, remote, and hybrid — have been held at the hub. More than 3,000 children and educational workers have participated in them.

Members of the working group had the opportunity to join one of these events — a training session for educators from Donetsk on the topic "Life in Balance," which was dedicated to supporting mental health.

In addition to the educational space, representatives of the regional administration also visited the Cultural Hub "Donetsk," where they participated in a vibrant family celebration "Adventures at the Chocolate Factory" for internally displaced persons from Bakhmut, Nikolske, Mariupol, Toretsk, and Volnovakha communities.

The cultural hub, created in September 2022, is a space for psychological, cultural, and emotional support for internally displaced persons. Regular art therapy sessions, events for children and adults, and meetings that promote integration and maintain connections with their homeland are held here.

Such hubs are becoming places of meeting, learning, and support for the people of Donetsk. Their work helps maintain a connection with their native region, adapt to new conditions, and not lose the sense of community even far from home.
