The implementation of the "Recovery Army" project in Donetsk Region remains one of the most effective initiatives, simultaneously supporting people, providing employment, and helping communities recover more quickly from enemy attacks.
On June 29, Natalia Adamova, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, held a series of meetings focused on organizing publicly beneficial works in communities across the region.
Today, every employer that continues operating in frontline communities is critically important. Through cooperation between the Employment Service, local self-government authorities, and municipal enterprises, people are given the opportunity to work, while communities are able to respond more rapidly to the consequences of enemy shelling.
During a working visit to the Kramatorsk community, Natalia Adamova met with Roman Matiunin, Head of the Bilenke Starosta District.
In Bilenke, participants of the Recovery Army project carry out publicly beneficial work at the municipal enterprise DRUAS. Every day, they clear rubble, collect and remove construction debris, helping restore the area after destruction caused by hostilities.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 3,000 referrals have been issued across the region for participation in these public works.
Natalia Adamova also spoke with local residents taking part in the project. They shared that participation in the publicly beneficial works has become not only a source of income but also an opportunity to contribute to rebuilding their community and supporting the people around them.
