The Donetsk Regional Museum of Local History held a psychological training session titled “Emotional Intelligence and Stress Resilience” for cultural workers in the Donetsk region.

Amid war, social instability, a high volume of information, and frequent changes, cultural workers face the important task of not only preserving and promoting the nation’s cultural heritage but also sustaining the spirit of society, addressing trauma, and creating content under extraordinary circumstances. This requires every professional to be able to adapt to change while maintaining resilience.

The speaker at the event was Yevheniia Posunko, a clinical psychologist from the Department of Social and Psychological Work, Counteraction, and Prevention of Violence at the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services. Ms. Yevheniia, skillfully combining theory with practical case studies, spoke to the audience about the importance of developing emotional intelligence as a component of professional competence for cultural workers, and also shared effective techniques for managing emotions, methods for reducing stress, restoring inner resources, and maintaining emotional balance.

The knowledge and skills gained during the training will help participants better understand themselves and others, constructively resolve emotionally charged situations, and maintain their own psychological well-being.
