Today, a meeting dedicated to supporting veterans, servicemen and women, and their family members from the Ocheretyne Settlement Territorial Community took place. The event was organized in a combined online/offline format and brought together representatives of government authorities, профильных institutions, and the employment service for an open dialogue on social guarantees and new opportunities for defenders and their families.
One of the key parts of the meeting was the presentation of employment service programs and services — from job search assistance to starting a business — delivered by Natalia Peftiieva, Deputy Head of the Service Delivery Organization Department of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.
Ms. Peftiieva informed participants about support mechanisms offered by the employment service for veterans, including opportunities to launch their own businesses and participate in state grant programs. Special attention was paid to vocational training, as well as the training voucher program aimed at improving competitiveness in the labor market.
The importance of personalized support in the employment of veterans and their family members was also emphasized. Employment service specialists provide an individual approach — from creating a modern résumé to preparing candidates for job interviews with employers.
Participants also learned about compensation programs for employers who hire veterans, which contribute to building a more inclusive and open labor market.
