Sometimes the most important dreams simply have to wait for the right moment. That was the case for Valerii Muzychuk from Kramatorsk.

For many years, he worked in the public utilities sector, but his true passion had always been horticulture. Owning a fruit orchard remained a long-held dream that seemed destined to stay just that—a dream.

In 2022, Valerii joined the defense of Ukraine. After completing his military service, he returned home and decided it was finally time to pursue the goal he had dreamed about for so many years.

He was able to turn that dream into reality with the help of the Grants for Veterans and Their Family Members program.

Using the grant funding, the entrepreneur purchased the necessary equipment and tools, installed a greenhouse, bought fruit tree seedlings, and created new jobs.

Today, his farm continues to grow successfully, and his cooperation with the Employment Service remains ongoing. Valerii also took advantage of the government's compensation program for employing internally displaced persons. This allowed him not only to expand his business but also to support people who needed a new job and an opportunity to begin a new chapter in their lives.

On July 7, Svitlana Bondarieva, Head of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, together with Employment Service specialists, visited the entrepreneur's farm. During the meeting, they discussed the results of their cooperation, the development of the business, and opportunities to benefit from additional government support programs.

"Every successful employer creates new opportunities for people seeking work. That is why the Employment Service not only provides information about government programs but also supports entrepreneurs throughout every stage of their implementation," the specialists from the Kramatorsk Branch noted.

The veteran himself summed it up simply:

"It's never too late to start something new. If you have the desire to work and love what you do, the results will come."
