Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation of territorial communities in a partnership format and as part of the state program to support communities affected by armed aggression "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities," the implementation of important initiatives aimed at supporting children from frontline areas continues.
14 gifted students from educational institutions of the Pokrovsk community — winners of national and international competitions — traveled to the Sheptytsky community. From June 12 to 19, they will participate in the local history tour "Discovering Ukraine," which has not only an educational but also an emotionally restorative character.
Program activities include:
- local history excursions in the Sheptytsky community,
- tourist routes and outdoor activities,
- interactive educational and entertainment events,
- live communication with local peers.
“We aim to provide children not only with knowledge but also with positive experiences that will help them cope with difficult times. The trip to the Sheptytsky community is another opportunity to give our students a sense of support and safety, new acquaintances, and memories that will stay with them for a long time. Children deserve a childhood, regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in,” said Lyubov Vorotyntseva, head of the education department of the Pokrovsk council.
