A working meeting of teachers from the Toretsk and Kaniv communities was held as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities".
At the meeting, participants developed a roadmap for joint actions by managers and teachers aimed at improving the quality of education. Acting Head of the Education Department of the Toretsk City Military Administration Olha Hariuk and Head of the Education Department of the Kaniv City Territorial Community Nadiya Golda made adjustments to the work plans of the pedagogical communities, taking into account each other's experience.
As part of the visit, educators from Toretsk:
- visited landmarks associated with the name of Taras Shevchenko;
- visited one of the partner community's educational institutions and talked to teachers;
- participated in Ukrainian language lessons;
- got acquainted with the organization of the center for conducting classes on the defense of Ukraine.
The meeting was an important step towards establishing partnership, mutual support and exchange of experience between the communities.
