Kaniv hosted a meaningful and sincere meeting of teachers from the Toretsk and Kaniv communities as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities". The event was aimed at establishing partnerships, sharing educational experience, and strengthening unity between the regions of Ukraine.
The meeting began with a solemn commemoration of Taras Shevchenko: the participants laid flowers at the grave of the Great Kobzar on Chernecha Hill.
As part of the educational event, a Methodological Digest was held, during which representatives of educational institutions of the two communities presented their schools, shared modern approaches to education and upbringing, and discussed topical issues of educational development, patriotic education, and creating a safe and motivating educational environment for children.
The participants were particularly impressed by the visit to the Kaniv City Center for National and Patriotic Education. The teachers of the Toretsk community got acquainted with the center's activities, its programs and took part in a creative workshop on creating a traditional motanka doll, a symbol of Ukrainian amulet, goodness and spirituality.
The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere of cooperation, openness and mutual support. It was another confirmation that Ukrainian education is a common cause of unity, mutual understanding and faith in the future.
