As part of the national project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities," another meeting took place with specialists from the social protection department of Pokrovsk and Sheptytsky, as well as experts from the Sheptytsky Day Center for Social Services, dedicated to the topic of domestic violence.
The issues of manifestations and ways to overcome domestic violence became key during the training conducted by the director of the Pokrovsk City Center for Social Services, Tetiana Kirsanova.
The event aimed to expand the knowledge of social sector specialists regarding the types of violence, the causes of violent behavior, and ways to overcome it. Participants identified where and to whom they could turn for help to stop the violence. Special attention was paid to the signs and manifestations of the four forms of domestic violence: physical, psychological, economic, and sexual.
"Thank you to all participants for their openness and active participation. Together we can create a society free from violence. Work in this direction continues," noted Tetiana Kirsanova.
