Timely consultations with tax service specialists at the start of a business help avoid common mistakes in choosing a taxation system, submitting reports, and calculating payments. This ensures financial discipline from the very first months of operation and minimizes the risk of penalties.
With this goal in mind, specialists of the Donetsk Regional Employment Service organized an online meeting within the “BiznesLAB” series, involving representatives of the Main Department of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region and the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region.
The event was held as a practical dialogue platform titled “The Legal ABC of an Entrepreneur,” bringing together aspiring and active entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of state institutions. The focus was on establishing systematic tax support for recipients of grants to start and develop their own businesses.
During the meeting, participants received clarifications on state registration of entrepreneurial activity, choosing and applying the simplified taxation system, maintaining HR documentation, calculating and paying the single social contribution, and employers’ obligations to the Pension Fund and their employees.
Interagency cooperation between the State Employment Service, tax authorities, and the Pension Fund is aimed at providing comprehensive support to participants in grant programs. This includes not only informing them about business registration procedures, but also building systematic tax guidance for entrepreneurs launching activities with state support.
During the event, participants received answers to their questions and professional explanations regarding key aspects of starting and running a business.
The open dialogue format confirmed entrepreneurs’ interest in systematic state support. That is why “BiznesLAB” is gradually transforming from an educational project into a platform for interagency cooperation, where the Employment Service, tax authorities, and other state institutions work as one team.
