More than 160 specialists from Donetsk region took part in a seminar on personnel management in conditions of martial law

Human resource management under martial law was discussed on November 20 at a seminar with representatives of district state administrations, district military administrations, military administrations of settlements, military-civilian administrations, and executive bodies of city councils as part of traditional events to implement the instructions of the head of the regional state administration and the head of the regional military administration on organizing information dissemination under martial law. 

During the event, the following issues were highlighted state and non-state initiatives available for psychological support and medical rehabilitation of veterans; results of the implementation of the powers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine regarding the appointment of state social assistance to vulnerable categories of the population under martial law; measures being implemented to ensure the accessibility of social services for persons with disabilities and the elderly; the implementation of language policy and explanatory work on compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language”; the activities of libraries and library workers under martial law; support for large families who have been evacuated to other regions of Ukraine; organization of work to support displaced children, promote their socialization, psychological relief, and development through physical culture; integration of inclusive sports in communities and support for athletes with disabilities; pollution and/or littering of water, unauthorized use of water resources as a result of emergencies and active hostilities in the region.

The seminar was organized and conducted by the department for ensuring cooperation with local self-government bodies of the regional state administration in conjunction with the department for personnel and awards of the regional state administration, the department for veteran policy of the regional state administration, the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Region, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Regional State Administration, the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National-Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Regional State Administration, and the State Environmental Inspection in Donetsk Region.

During the seminar, participants acquired new skills and knowledge, actively participated in the discussion of reports and presentations, and expressed their wishes regarding the topics for future meetings.
