The decision was made during a meeting of the Defense Council of Donetsk region. In current conditions, this is not just a figure — it is concrete support for Ukrainian soldiers that saves lives and strengthens their capabilities on the front line.
The funds will be used to purchase electronic warfare systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and FPV drones — equipment that is critically important today for effective deterrence and countering the enemy.
“Special attention was given to the importance of transparency and responsibility in procurement. Every hryvnia must be used as efficiently as possible and quickly reach those who need it most — our defenders.
Donetsk region continues to support the Defense Forces. We keep working toward our shared victory,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
