Vadym Filashkin held a regular meeting of the Donetsk Regional Defense Council.
The key issue on the agenda was support for the military and the defense of the Donetsk region.
More than UAH 38 million from the regional budget has been allocated to meet the urgent needs of our Defense Forces units. We continue to provide systematic assistance to the military with everything necessary to carry out combat missions.
Special attention was given to the construction and reinforcement of fortifications. The work is ongoing in designated areas in accordance with frontline needs and in close coordination with the military.
Cooperation with Defense Forces units on the installation of anti-drone nets was also discussed. This is not only about protecting personnel and equipment, but also an important element of safety during the delivery of food supplies to rear communities of the region and the movement of our residents.
“We are working in close coordination with the military, communities, and all involved services.
Our main task is to strengthen the region’s defense capabilities and ensure the safety of the residents of Donetsk region,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
