During the second half of April, the Donetsk Youth Palace “Yunist” held a regional children’s drawing contest titled “Work Safety Through Children’s Eyes,” dedicated to World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
The event brought together more than 500 young artists from across the Donetsk region. Participants submitted their creative works remotely, with the aim of promoting personal protective equipment, workplace safety, and the value of human life. The contest was held in three age categories, where judges evaluated not only the technical execution but also the relevance of the social message.
An important part of the event was the online voting for the “Audience Choice Award,” in which over 2,500 participants took part.
Based on the results of the public vote, the winners in this category were: Timur But (Sloviansk Secondary School No. 10), Roman Siryak (Zvanivka Secondary School), and Valeria Novikova (Mirnograd Professional Mining Lyceum).
