Where the war has made support especially important and people need to know they are not left alone with their challenges, the Donetsk Regional Employment Service continues to stand by them.

On July 1, the Mobile Employment Center visited the village of Petriivka Druha in the Oleksandrivka Territorial Community of Kramatorsk District.

For residents of remote communities, this outreach format provides access to the full range of state employment services without the need to travel outside their community.

Visitors were able to:

  • receive employment counseling;

  • learn about vocational education and training opportunities;

  • explore business grant programs;

  • obtain information on financial support for employers and other Employment Service programs.

Employment specialists presented current job vacancies across Ukraine, including positions that offer accommodation, introduced visitors to the State Employment Service's digital services, and helped participants learn how to use online services independently.

The "Experience Matters" National Program attracted particular interest among older participants. Employment specialists demonstrated how to apply for the program and explained its eligibility requirements and benefits.

"Quality public services should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. When people cannot come to the Employment Service, the Employment Service comes to them. This is how trust is built, employment is supported, and people gain confidence that even in frontline communities they are not left alone with their difficulties," said Nataliia Adamova.

Local entrepreneurs were also among the beneficiaries of the visit. Existing and aspiring business owners received information about the "Own Business" grant program, financial support available to employers through the Employment Service, and the new government initiative "Point of Support," designed to assist businesses affected by the war.
