As part of the “Light of Remembrance” initiative, launched by the non-governmental organization “Order of St. Panteleimon” with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, every Friday at 10:00 a.m. we honor the medical professionals who lost their lives as a result of Russia’s armed aggression.
Stanislav and Lyudmila Kirilov are a married couple of medical workers from the Velykonovosilkovskyi community. He was an ambulance driver; she was a nurse.
They never held weapons in their hands; their weapons were compassion and humanity.
Stanislav worked as a driver at the outpatient clinic in the village of Andriivka. Colleagues remember him as a reliable professional and a good person. Lyudmila was a junior nurse at the village clinic in Kostyantynopil. She was known as a caring woman whose yard was always blooming with the most beautiful flowers.
They spent their entire lives helping others, saving lives, and working on their land. Russian shelling in March 2025 cut their story short forever.
Our deepest condolences to their families. May Stanislav and Lyudmila rest in peace.
