In Memory: Medical Workers from Donetsk Oblast Whose Lives Were Taken by the War

Published 08 May 2026 year, 10:00

As part of the “Light of Remembrance” initiative, launched by the non-governmental organization “Order of St. Panteleimon” with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, every Friday at 10:00 a.m. we honor the medical workers who lost their lives as a result of Russia’s armed aggression.

Tetyana Solovyova was a civilian employee at a medical facility who faithfully carried out her duties in a frontline city.

She was born in the city of Torez in the Donetsk region and lived and worked in Kostyantynivka. Tetyana Oleksandrivna did not leave her homeland during the most difficult times and worked as a security guard at the Kostiantynivka Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital.

Every day, she ensured the safety of the facility, which saved the lives of military personnel and civilians under constant enemy shelling.

Tetyana Solovyova died on July 18, 2025, in Kostiantynivka as a result of yet another shelling. She is survived by her civilian husband.

Tetyana remained loyal to her hospital and community until her last breath.

May Tetyana Oleksandrivna rest in eternal and bright memory. Her contribution to frontline medicine is forever inscribed in the Book of Remembrance.
