The sixth themed session, “Spring Extravaganza,” is currently underway at the “Emerald City” Social Rehabilitation and Health Resort, combining active recreation with valuable educational experiences.
At the start of the session, elections were held for the children’s city council, and Sofia Fenina from the Kramatorsk community was elected mayor. This form of self-governance helps the children develop leadership qualities, a sense of team responsibility, and an active civic stance.
The children demonstrated their creative potential during the “Voice of Spring” talent festival, which served as a platform for many to express themselves and gain confidence in their abilities.
An important component of the program is career guidance, which helps young people define their future life goals. The students have already attended an Open House at Podil State University, where they learned about educational opportunities and modern majors.
In addition to academic activities, the camp is filled with educational excursions, including a trip to the Bakot Bay. Learning about the region’s history and the landscapes of the Dniester Canyon left the children with vivid impressions and fostered environmental awareness and harmony with nature.
“Spring Extravaganza” in the “Emerald City” remains an inspiring environment where every child feels supported and has the conditions for well-rounded development.
