A coordination meeting on strengthening safety measures during the evacuation of civilians from Donetsk Region was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
The meeting brought together representatives of the structural departments of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), and humanitarian non-governmental organizations.
Participants discussed key issues related to organizing civilian evacuations, identifying and optimizing evacuation routes, ensuring the safety of civilians during transportation, and strengthening cooperation among all agencies and organizations involved in evacuation operations.
Following the meeting, participants emphasized the need to enhance coordination among all relevant stakeholders, improve the logistics of evacuation processes, and ensure the timely exchange of information. Implementing these measures will help increase the speed, safety, and overall effectiveness of civilian evacuations in the face of ongoing security challenges.
