Today, July 1, as Ukraine celebrates Architecture Day, the D. I. Chizhevsky Gymnasium of the Oleksandriya City Council in Kirovohrad Oblast held a virtual tour of the city of Oleksandriya as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
Participants in the event had a wonderful opportunity to see how the city has changed over the years, preserving its historical heritage while also acquiring modern architectural features.
The virtual tour was the result of collaboration between the Oleksandriya Gymnasium and Kostiantynivka Secondary School No. 16 (Grades 1–3) of the Kostiantynivka City Council in the Donetsk region as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project. This collaboration proves once again that partnership, mutual support, and unity among Ukrainian communities know no distance.
Teachers and students conducted thorough research to showcase Oleksandriya’s architectural development and introduce viewers to its landmarks. We invite everyone to watch the virtual tour, experience the city’s atmosphere, connect with its history, and discover the beauty of Ukrainian architecture.
May this journey be a source of new experiences and yet another reminder of Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage and unique beauty.
