On October 7, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Shevchenko visited Ukrainians recently released from enemy captivity who are currently in hospital.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Department of Social Protection of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services.

They discussed the issues of providing comprehensive assistance to the liberated citizens: medical, psychological and social, as well as mechanisms for receiving state benefits, support in employment and training. Particular attention was paid to the process of adaptation and return to peaceful life.

Addressing the audience, Oleksandr Shevchenko emphasized: "Each of you is an example of strength of spirit, steadfastness and love for the Motherland. Our task is to provide you with everything you need so that you feel the support of the state and have the opportunity to rebuild your lives."

Donetsk Regional State Administration continues to work systematically to ensure that all those who have returned from captivity receive the necessary assistance and support.

"We value every life, every story. And we will do everything possible to make your journey after your return a journey of dignity, safety and support," added Oleksandr Shevchenko.
