On June 28, 2025, it will be 29 years since the Constitution of Ukraine was adopted. This year, we will once again celebrate the national holiday in the conditions of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Despite the horrors of war, life in Donetsk region continues: children continue to receive education, residents of the region have access to medical and social services, and conditions are being created for the development of creative abilities, etc.
On the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine, the regional state administration has launched a regional campaign "The Constitution of Ukraine through the Prism of War." The stories of the residents of Donetsk region once again prove that even in a state of war, the commitment to constitutional principles is important for the Ukrainian state – the affirmation of human rights and freedoms, compliance with universal and European values, which the Ukrainian people bravely defend in modern conditions, protecting freedom, territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Article 17. The protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, ensuring its economic and information security are the most important functions of the state, the responsibility of the entire Ukrainian people.
Unbreakability, patriotism, strength of spirit – these words best characterize Maksym Shestakov from the village of Mykolaivka in the Novohrodivka community.
Having obtained an education as a psychologist and working at his native school, in May 2022, Maksym Shestakov consciously took up the defense of Ukraine. During a combat mission, the soldier was wounded, which led to disability. Despite these trials, since December 2024, Maksym has continued his work path as a master at KP "Komuntech," demonstrating remarkable resilience and responsibility.
Having returned to peaceful life, the veteran continues to contribute to the development of the community. His personal courage and active civic position, recognized with the badge of honor "Sign of Honor," serve as an inspiring example for the entire community. Maksym Shestakov is living proof that the strength of spirit can overcome any trials.
Donetsk region is proud of its worthy people, one of whom is Maksym Shestakov. His selfless service to Ukraine has manifested both during the defense of his homeland and in peaceful work! We believe that the path of such a personality will inspire fellow countrymen to successfully overcome any obstacles and challenges.
