On June 28, Ukrainians celebrate the day of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine, the day when the most important values of our state were enshrined – human rights and freedoms, democracy, the rule of law, dignity, and independence, an unchanging civilizational choice of the Ukrainian people over the centuries.
On this festive day, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of the Donetsk region in safe areas of Ukraine held a series of patriotic events for children and adults that united them and strengthened the sense of Ukrainian unity.
Information hours and lectures "Know Your Rights and Don't Forget Your Duties," thematic events "Remember and Know Your Rights," interactive activities "Symbols of Ukraine Through the Eyes of Children" became a platform for discussing the main state law of Ukraine, state symbols, historical references about the adoption of the Constitution, its main principles, and its role in the development of statehood.
Organized educational quest games "Constitution Through the Eyes of Children," "My Country – Ukraine," "Constitution – Rights and Duties," interactive blitz quizzes "What is the Constitution," "State Symbols of Ukraine," during which participants competed in knowledge of constitutional norms, assembled puzzles, solved tasks, helped learn more about the Constitution of Ukraine, uniting children of different ages.
At the locations, a series of master classes took place, where participants created symbolic amulets, crafts, paintings, hangings, and decorated thematic photo zones, where everyone took patriotic photos.
The interactive board game "Code of Donetsk," in which youth from Toretsk, Bakhmut, Novohrodivka, Myrnohrad participated, allowed for an interesting way to restore and deepen knowledge about the history, culture, unique landmarks, and outstanding figures of Donetsk.
Educational and entertainment events "I am a person, we are a family, our home is Ukraine," "Journey to the Land of Children's Rights" consisted of cleverness contests, crosswords, quizzes, and sports relays that united the youth of Donetsk around the fundamental values of our state.
The exhibition of children's drawings, drawing classes "Canvas of Freedom," "State Symbols of Ukraine," "Constitution – the Main Law of the Country" allowed children to express through drawings what freedom, Ukraine, and dreams of a happy future mean to them.
Attendance by Donetsk residents at festive concert programs, performances by vocal, choreographic, and instrumental groups created an atmosphere of unity and inspiration, unforgettable impressions from patriotic songs.
Donetsk residents in Dnipro joined in writing a dictation for the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine, which united hundreds of concerned Ukrainians.
This day was filled with knowledge, patriotism, and community. The events inspired those present to support unity and resilience in the face of modern challenges, to collectively form a conscious, strong society.
Visitors to the humanitarian hubs/centers participated in laying flowers at memorial plaques, memorials to heroes who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine.
Today, the residents of Donetsk are united in the face of a difficult challenge – the struggle for our independence, freedom, and European future.
