Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Igor Boiko and representatives of relevant structural units of the Donetsk Regional State Administration took part in an online meeting of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, during which topical issues of ensuring the stability of electronic communication networks in conditions of martial law were discussed.
During the meeting, a number of important issues were considered, in particular, simplifying the requirements for obtaining access to work with high-risk facilities for servicing mobile communication base station generators during the period of martial law.
An important issue was the simplification of fire safety requirements, in particular, increasing the permissible amount of fuel that can be stored near base stations.
During the meeting, Ihor Boiko reported on the state of mobile communication base stations in the Donetsk region. According to him, in order to provide quality services to the population in the event of prolonged power outages, mobile operators have taken measures to equip base stations with electric generators, as well as lithium and AGM batteries.
