On April 28, representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy participated in the event “Digital Ecosystem for Veterans,” which took place in Kyiv with the participation of Natalia Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine, her deputy Oleg Shymansky, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Valeria Koval, as well as representatives of central executive bodies, the veteran community, and international partners.
The event featured the presentation of new digital services aimed at improving access to state and local services for veterans and their family members. In particular, new tools were introduced that complement the “Veteran Pro” digital platform and form a unified support ecosystem:
- the “Regional Opportunities” section—which aggregates information about support programs at the regional and local levels;
- the VeteranPro.AI AI assistant—for quickly searching for information about services and benefits;
- the OSKAR CRM system for specialists supporting veterans.
They also discussed the importance of digitizing processes in the field of veteran policy, particularly simplifying access to services, reducing bureaucratic burdens, and improving the effectiveness of support for veterans and their families.
As a reminder, “Veteran Pro” is a government digital platform designed to provide convenient access to services, information, and opportunities for veterans and their family members.
Additionally, we would like to note that the “Defenders of Donetsk Region” chatbot is available on Telegram to provide information and assistance to veterans and their families: t.me/ZakhysnykyDonechchyny_bot.
