Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko participated in an online meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for evacuation measures and effective response to mass population displacement. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Riabykin.
To support people evacuating from Donetsk region, ensure their registration, and transfer relevant data to the Ministry of Social Policy, transit centers provide daily on-site presence of:
- representatives of the Department of Social Protection of the Regional State Administration
- the Donetsk Regional Center of Social Services
- social protection units of local military administrations
- staff of municipal social service providers
In addition, social workers from the charitable organization Charity Foundation Angels of Salvation are involved in work at transit points.
Following the meeting, the Coordination Headquarters approved an initiative on the mandatory evacuation of families with children from designated areas, including enforcement measures where necessary.
