On June 26, 2026, representatives of territorial communities of Donetsk region took part in the traditional dictation for the Constitution Day of Ukraine, which took place in the city of Dnipro and brought together over 1,000 participants from different regions of the country.
The event has been organized for the sixth year in a row by the youth network "Wave" with the support of the charitable foundation "Maria Pinchuk Foundation" and the Dnipro City Council. This year, the dictation became the largest in the entire history of the event and brought together representatives of different generations, professions and communities.
Representatives of territorial communities of Donetsk region joined in writing the dictation. Participation in such an event was not only an opportunity to test their knowledge of the Ukrainian language, but also a symbol of unity, respect for the Constitution of Ukraine and support for national values.
This year's dictation text was dedicated to the city of Dnipro and its residents, who for many years have supported internally displaced persons and have become a real center of unity and mutual assistance. A special guest of the event was Ukrainian rap singer Alyona Alyona, who read the text for the participants.
The participation of representatives of the Donetsk region in such a large-scale event once again confirms that the Ukrainian language, culture and common traditions remain important factors of national unity and invincibility of the Ukrainian people.
Constitution Day of Ukraine is a reminder of the fundamental values of our state, and the joint writing of the dictation became a symbol of respect for the Ukrainian language, civic responsibility and unity of all regions of Ukraine.
