Victoria has been defending Ukraine since 2019, and Dmytro since 2020. It was the war that brought them together and gave each of them the person who has become their closest companion.
Just a day later, Dmytro confessed that he was planning to propose on June 26, 2026. You have to admit, it’s a beautiful date. And preparations had been underway all this time. They carefully searched for a location, thought through every detail, and did everything they could to hear that long-awaited “Yes.”
Victoria knew that something special was in store for her that day, but she didn’t know any of the details. Dmytro admitted that he was very nervous.
And just imagine: they blindfolded her, took her to one of the cliffs in the Donetsk region, and when she opened her eyes—she saw a table, flowers, and Dmytro. At that very moment, everything fell into place. He had only a few minutes before the engagement ring arrived via drone.
And there it was—the long-awaited “Yes.”
Everyone involved in this day was overjoyed, though it’s impossible to even imagine the emotions this incredible couple was experiencing.
