An online meeting for local authorities, organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, was held to discuss the issue of providing mobile communication base stations with generators and other means of uninterrupted power supply.
Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, joined the online meeting. During the event, participants discussed key issues related to ensuring the stable operation of mobile communication networks in the event of possible power outages, particularly in regions with increased security risks.
During the meeting, an algorithm was presented for involving local communities in the process of providing power generation for base stations. Particular attention was paid to coordinating actions between authorities, communities, and mobile operators, as well as to the issue of concluding agreements on the provision of services to involve communities in ensuring communication stability.

Stanislav Prybyitko — Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for Digital Infrastructure Development;
Oleksandr Moroz — Director of the Department of Interbudgetary Relations and Local Budgets Policy at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine;
Vitaliy Bezgin — Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Administrative-Territorial Structure and Local Self-Government.
Following the online meeting, further steps and priority areas of work were identified to strengthen the energy autonomy of mobile communication facilities.
