From September 22 to 27, the All-Ukrainian seminar-training titled "Specialist in Fostering Ukrainian National and Civic Identity" took place, bringing together professionals and leaders from across the country. The event was organized by the All-Ukrainian Youth Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Institute for the Modernization of Educational Content, and the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.
The Donetsk region was successfully represented at this major educational intensive by specialists in youth policy, education, and national-patriotic upbringing, as well as representatives from youth councils and the region's active youth.
The training program focused on professional development, reviewing the legal and regulatory framework, strategic planning for local-level activities, and acquiring practical skills to shape societal values.
During the seminar, specialists from the Donetsk region mastered modern tools for fostering a culture of safety, strengthening social cohesion, providing psychological first aid, and resolving conflicts. Participants emphasized that a specialist in fostering identity acts as a key facilitator of civic resilience, helping to translate theoretical knowledge and values into the actual capacity and readiness of citizens to act for the country's safety and development. The knowledge, methodological materials, and practical skills acquired will enable specialists in the Donetsk region to build a secure environment even more effectively, foster civic resilience, and strengthen systematic efforts to affirm Ukrainian identity directly within the region's territorial communities.
