Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko took part in an online meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures and Response to Mass Displacement of the Population. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current security situation in the frontline regions. In particular, it was emphasized that the vast majority of shelling is carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, the enemy is actively using aviation to drop guided bombs, and there is an increasing number of attacks using UAVs and FPV drones of various types on populated areas in Donetsk region, in particular Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkivka, Dobropillia, Liman, Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Oleksandrivka, Sviatohirsk, Cherkasy, and others.
Special attention was paid to the organization and conduct of the evacuation of the population from areas under constant shelling, as well as the coordination of actions between central and local authorities to ensure the safe and timely movement of citizens and provide them with the necessary assistance.
Evacuation measures are carried out by the forces and resources of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast, the Patrol Police Directorate in Donetsk Oblast, and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast. The units involved are equipped with armored vehicles.
The evacuation teams necessarily include juvenile prevention officers from the territorial police units and the special evacuation team "White Angels," which has considerable practical experience in evacuating the population.
Evacuation measures in the region are ongoing.
