As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," the Uman community welcomed social protection specialists from partner communities: Pokrovsk, Kushuhum, Dubovykivka, Avdiivka, and Oleshky.
The specialists took part in a round table discussion on "The optimal model for providing social services in the community." The event was held at the Uman City Council's Department of Labor and Social Protection.
During the discussion, the main focus was on the model for providing social services in the host community. They discussed support for families, communities, and defenders affected by the war. The Uman community also presented a model focusing on the rehabilitation of veterans, the provision of medical care, and the organization of family recreation and leisure activities.
In the final part of the discussion, participants focused on analyzing existing problems and jointly searching for ways to solve them for further cooperation.
