Today, September 4, 2026, a working meeting was held in Kyiv to coordinate efforts on drafting the Strategy for the Deoccupation and Reintegration of Ukraine’s Temporarily Occupied Territories.
The meeting was chaired by Minister Vitalii Bezgin and the Chair of the Working Group of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development, and Urban Planning—which is tasked with developing national policies on reintegration, the restoration of state authority, and Ukrainian identity in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories—as well as People’s Deputy of Ukraine Tamila Tasheva.
The event was attended by Yuriy Vinokurov, First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, and representatives of the Regional State Administration’s structural units.
The event organizers presented the current status of the draft Strategy’s development. This document will define the goals, principles, and priority areas of state policy regarding the de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories and is of paramount importance in the current context and for Ukraine’s post-war recovery.
