Thirty-six people from the Donetsk region, who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities, have arrived in the Rivne region.
The evacuees were provided with necessary assistance, and arrangements were made to transport them to temporary housing, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The Rivne region continues to accept people forced to leave dangerous areas and help them settle in a safe region.
On September 3, 2026, alone, 88 evacuees from Donetsk were provided with organized, free housing. Displaced persons were also accepted in the Odesa, Kirovohrad, and Cherkasy regions. Among these people were 9 children and 25 residents with limited mobility, according to the Department of Social Protection of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Nearly 50 people decided to leave the Kramatorsk community, and 35 left the Sloviansk community. Five dogs and six cats also traveled with the evacuees.
We are sincerely grateful to all the regions that are providing shelter to our residents, who now have the opportunity to get away from the horrors of war, as well as to the charitable organizations helping to evacuate people from the Donetsk region.
