A working meeting was held with representatives of civil society institutions in the region and members of the public council at the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

During the meeting, those present summarized the results of the Donetsk Regional State Administration's cooperation with civil society institutions during 2025. Natalia Chukova, head of the department for ensuring cooperation with local self-government bodies of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, delivered a report. She informed about the main areas of cooperation, implemented initiatives, and results of joint work.

Natalia Chukova noted that during 2025, as part of the implementation of the regional target program for the promotion of civil society development, the department carried out measures aimed at establishing systematic interaction and constructive dialogue with civil society institutions in the region.

An important area of work remains the conduct of mandatory public consultations at all stages of regional policy formation. Over the past year, the structural units of the regional state administration held 24 public consultations, which made it possible to take into account the proposals and position of the public when making management decisions.

On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, a ceremony was held during the forum to honor the most active and effective volunteer organizations operating in the Donetsk region or supporting its residents who were forced to evacuate to other regions of Ukraine. Civil society institutions, volunteer and charitable organizations were recognized in the categories "Support for Defenders," "Health and Care," "Warmth of Hearts," "Light of Knowledge: Charity for the Future," and "Power of Youth." In total, about a hundred volunteer and charitable initiatives received awards. Gratitude was expressed to all those who participated in the event, and hopes were expressed to make it an annual event.

Participants also discussed measures to support agricultural producers in the Donetsk region, particularly in the context of martial law and the complex security situation.

Attention was paid to the issues of developing a system of state planning documents at the regional level and the possibility of involving civil society institutions in the planning processes for the restoration of the Donetsk region.

The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue and constructive discussion of topical issues of regional development.
