A meeting on the support of Ukraine’s frontline territories was held under the chairmanship of Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Recovery and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. The meeting was attended by representatives of regional state administrations and communities located near the front line. Donetsk region was represented by First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yurii Vynokurov and Deputy Head Ihor Boiko.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the interim results of programs aimed at reimbursing electricity costs for households, providing financial assistance for the purchase of solid household fuel, implementing the “єOselya” (eHome) housing program, and supporting businesses in frontline areas.

“An important issue for the state remains providing compensation to citizens for destroyed and damaged housing, particularly in frontline and temporarily occupied territories,” noted Oleksii Kuleba.

The meeting also addressed ensuring the stable operation of healthcare institutions, maintaining security in communities, the functioning of educational institutions under active hostilities, and several other crucial issues affecting the sustainability and livelihoods of war-affected communities.
