As part of deepening partnership, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration with representatives of the public organization "Avalist".
During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the main areas of activity of the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration, as well as the areas of work of the NGO "Avalist", in particular in the areas of human rights protection, social support for vulnerable groups of the population, support for women and promotion of gender equality, etc.
The parties also discussed ways to deepen cooperation in relevant areas - ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, preventing domestic violence and combating human trafficking, supporting youth, internally displaced persons, and the possibilities of further involving the public in socially important projects both in the region and beyond.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on further joint work to implement initiatives and support the population of the Donetsk region.
Such meetings are an important step towards establishing a partnership between state structures and the public sector and play a key role in resolving urgent social issues at the local level.
