On June 30, 2025, an online meeting took place as part of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Soledar City Community of Donetsk Oblast and the Bilohorodka Village Community of Kyiv Oblast. The memorandum was signed within the framework of the national project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities".
Representatives of the Department of Education of the Soledar City Council and the Department of Education of the Bilohorodka Village Council, as well as representatives of educational institutions from both communities, participated in the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish inter-community cooperation in the field of education, as well as to discuss joint plans for the implementation of cultural and educational initiatives aimed at community cohesion and support for the pedagogical community in the face of modern challenges.
The Soledar Secondary School No. 13 with in-depth study of the English language shared its experience. The Deputy Director for Educational Work, Victoria Fomenko, presented a report on the topic: "Digital Literacy of Educators: Educational Online Platforms and Interactive Tools," where she shared her experience in using modern digital services, including AI tools, in lesson planning.
Her colleague Alina Lozyniak spoke about approaches to adapting educational programs for children with special educational needs, emphasizing the importance of implementing inclusive education.
Also presented were the developments of the IРC in supporting children with special educational needs, highlighting the importance of inter-agency interaction as a key condition for effective inclusion.
In the final part of the event, representatives of the educational community of the Bilohorodka community shared their own experiences and successful practices. They also talked about organizing work with gifted students.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of possible directions for further cooperation and the coordination of joint steps to strengthen the partnership between the communities.
