Within the framework of the coordination meeting, representatives of youth councils of Donetsk region discussed work plans for the current year and mechanisms for strengthening cooperation between communities. The main topics of the event were the affirmation of Ukrainian national and civic identity and the development of youth leadership through joint projects.
The key issue of the meeting was the presentation of the concept of the regional tent camp "Call of the Steppe", initiated by the Pokrovsky Youth Council.
The project is aimed at forming national-patriotic consciousness and social cohesion of youth. This year, the organizers are offering an updated format.
The Pokrovsky Youth Council invited representatives of other communities to join in filling the program, which will allow taking into account the interests of youth from the entire region.
The second part of the event was devoted to practical aspects of the work of youth councils. Participants presented the current developments of their communities and discussed tools for involving young people in active public life.
Joint implementation of projects such as "Call of the Steppe" allows for efficient use of resources and creation of high-quality platforms for communication between young people.
Such meetings contribute to the establishment of horizontal ties between communities and help build a unified youth policy strategy in the region.
