Government officials held a meeting with veterans and the families of defenders from the Velykonovosilkovska and Myrnenska communities

On March 27, a meeting was held with veterans, military personnel, and the families of fallen (deceased) defenders of Ukraine from the Velykonovosilkovskyi and Myrnenskyi settlement communities.

Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy and the Donetsk Regional Employment Center attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

  • the status of veteran policy implementation in the Velykonovosilkovskyi and Myrnenskyi settlement communities;
  • social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels to veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity;
  • social services, payments, and assistance provided by the Pension Fund of Ukraine to veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity;
  • services, payments, and assistance provided by the State Employment Service to veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity;
  • problematic issues faced by veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity, and ways to resolve them.

The meeting took place in the form of an open dialogue, allowing participants to ask relevant questions and receive expert explanations. Such events help strengthen cooperation between the government and the community, as well as raise awareness of the support available to veterans and their families.
