On November 26, a meeting was held with war veterans, persons with disabilities as a result of the war, and family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine from the Bilozerska municipal community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Dobropillia department of the Pokrovsk branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, and the charitable organization "Charitable Foundation "Smile of Ukraine."
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- provision of social guarantees at the state and regional levels;
- implementation of state policy in the field of pension provision, provision of benefits for the payment of housing and communal services, and annual physical identification of pension recipients;
- ensuring social protection for war veterans, their families, and the families of deceased defenders of Ukraine at the expense of the local budget;
- employment opportunities for war veterans and their families;
- assistance to organizations, communities, people with disabilities, and children in the affected regions of eastern and northern Ukraine.
