On February 25, a meeting was held with war veterans and families of deceased (dead or missing) military personnel from the Illinivska rural community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy and the Council of Families of the Deceased at the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
the status of implementation of veteran policy in the Illinivska rural community;
pension and social security for war veterans, registration of pensions and social guarantees for veterans, combatants, and family members of the deceased;
provision of monthly financial assistance to children who have the status of family members of deceased (deceased) Defender of Ukraine, Ukrainian military personnel captured in captivity, persons missing under special circumstances during military service, including those who have a declared/registered place of residence (stay) in the Donetsk region and have moved (evacuated) beyond its borders;
services for veterans, opportunities to start their own business, and vouchers for training for combatants.
