On June 13, a meeting was held with veterans and their family members from the Mariupol community, attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Regional Employment Center, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- provision of state and supplementary social benefits funded by the state and regional budgets;
- the city’s targeted program “Mariupol Respects You” to support war veterans, their family members, family members of deceased war veterans, and family members of deceased Defenders of Ukraine;
- employment services for job search and professional development;
- provision of services regarding pensions, benefits, and other payments to veterans and their family members.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs, thanked all the veterans and their family members in attendance for their service, emphasized the importance of open dialogue, and answered questions.
