On June 11, a meeting was held with war veterans, their family members, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and family members of persons missing under special circumstances from the Udachne settlement community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- providing information on social guarantees available at the national and regional levels;
- rights, social guarantees, and procedures for families of persons missing under special circumstances while performing military service;
- providing information on additional social guarantees for war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine funded by the local budget;
- information on opportunities for health improvement and recreation for the children of war veterans, fallen Defenders of Ukraine, and persons missing under special circumstances;
- a one-time cash payment on Ukraine’s Independence Day to war veterans and certain other categories of citizens.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, focused on securing funding through existing national housing and regional programs and answered questions from event participants.
