A video conference was held with the participation of heads of physical culture and sports departments from the military administrations of settlements in Donetsk Oblast, district state administrations, and district military administrations.

Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Oblast State Administration, took part in the event.

During the video conference, participants discussed a number of important issues, including: a report on the implementation of state policy in the field of physical culture and sports under martial law, the status of certification for coaches and instructor-coaches at children’s and youth sports schools in the Donetsk region, the conduct of the annual assessment of the population’s physical fitness, as well as innovations in organizing the physical culture and health event “I Honor the Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine – 2026.”

“The main task of our meeting today is not simply to take stock of the interim results, but to clearly coordinate actions to preserve our human resources, support athletes, and ensure the sector’s continued operation,” emphasized Ihor Boiko during the meeting.

He also expressed gratitude to all employees in the field of physical culture and sports for their daily work under martial law:

“Thank you to each of you for your resilience, patriotism, and dedication to your work. I wish us all productive work, constructive dialogue, and, most importantly, our joint Victory as soon as possible.”
