On June 26, a meeting was held with war veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity from the Velykonovosilkovska and Myrnenska settlement communities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Donetsk Oblast Employment Center.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- the status of veteran policy implementation in the Velykonovosilkovskyi and Myrnenska settlement communities;
- the legal status of persons missing under special circumstances during military service;
- social services, payments, and assistance provided by the Pension Fund of Ukraine to war veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity;
- services, payments, and assistance provided by the State Employment Service to war veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity.
Artur Nasibyan, head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the social benefits provided at the national and regional levels.
They also discussed the challenges faced by war veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and military personnel released from captivity, as well as ways to address these issues.
