On March 12, a meeting was held with war veterans and family members of deceased defenders from the Slovyansk city community.
Representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- veterans' policy in the Sloviansk city community and the results of 2025;
- the status of implementation of veteran policy at the regional level;
- the implementation of measures provided for in the Comprehensive Program for the Social Protection and Support of Defenders of Ukraine, their family members, and family members of deceased (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine of the Sloviansk city territorial community for 2026-2028.
Open dialogue and joint discussion of topical issues contribute to the improvement of veteran policy at the local and regional levels, increasing the effectiveness of social protection, and providing comprehensive support to war veterans, their family members, and the families of deceased (fallen) Defenders of Ukraine.
