Government officials met with veterans and the families of defenders from the Druzhkivka community

On July 9, a meeting was held with war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine from the Druzhkivka City Territorial Community, attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Kramatorsk District State Administration, the District Military Administration, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the regional employment center.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

ensuring the implementation of state programs to support veterans and their family members, as well as the family members of fallen Defenders;

the legal status of persons missing under special circumstances during military service;

providing sanatorium and resort treatment for family members of war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine;

pension benefits and subsidies for housing and utility services for family members of persons missing under special circumstances;

employment services to assist with job searches and professional development.

Artur NASIBYAN, Head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Regional State Administration, provided a detailed overview of the housing programs in place at the national level, as well as programs for veterans and their families funded by the regional budget.
