When Experience Becomes the Greatest Advantage: Oleksandr's Successful Employment Story from Kramatorsk

Published 09 July 2026 year, 16:24

Is it possible to find a job after the age of 60? The story of Oleksandr Vladyslavovych from Kramatorsk proves that it is.

He spent nearly his entire career working as a driver. Shortly before the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, he lost his job. Despite his extensive professional experience, finding new employment was not easy.

After turning to the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, he learned about the "Experience Matters" project, which helps people with many years of professional experience find employment while connecting employers with qualified specialists.

Thanks to the project, his application was considered by MTK PAVLOV & CARGO WAYS LLC, one of Ukraine's leading freight transportation companies, which was looking for an experienced driver.

Following a probationary period, the employer confirmed that professionalism, responsibility, and many years of experience are always valued.

Today, Oleksandr Vladyslavovych is successfully employed, has a stable income, and has returned to the profession he loves. At the same time, the employer was able to quickly fill a critical vacancy.
