On September 29, a meeting was held with veterans, their family members, the families of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and persons missing under special circumstances who are registered in the Illinivska rural territorial community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, Citizen Services Department No. 5 (Service Center) of the Citizen Services Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Druzhkivka Directorate of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Oblast Employment Center.
The following issues were discussed:
- the legal status of persons missing under special circumstances during military service;
- the status of veteran policy implementation within the Illinivska rural territorial community;
- comprehensive support for veterans and their family members regarding employment, education, and business development;
- benefits and services for combatants, persons with war-related disabilities, and their family members. Provision of survivor’s pensions to children of persons missing in action under special circumstances;
- provision of one-time financial assistance to Defenders of Ukraine and war veterans on Defenders of Ukraine Day.
Artur Nasibyan, head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the provision of state and additional social benefits funded by the regional and local budgets.
